video footage has emerged of police in Equatorial Guinea clashing with fans who turned violent outside the Bata stadium just before the host nation took on Burkina Faso.

Fans began throwing stones and bottle outside the stadium and the Police retaliated with smoke grenades.
BBC Sport reporter, Steve Grossman said: "Around 300 fans throwing bottles and stones outside the ground. Saw smoke grenades going off as more violent clashes affect Afcon 2015."
There have been long queues entering the stadium due to the health measures outside where Supporters have their temperatures checked and then asked to clean their hands with sanitising gel.
Riot police and fans also scuffled before the first
games
in the city of Ebebiyin on Sunday.
